On March 26th, the first steel box girder hoisting operation for the WTYJMTJ-3 section of the Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway (from the Tianmen-Jingmen boundary to the Second Guangzhou Expressway), in which our company participated, was successfully completed. This marks the project's official entry into the main steel structure construction phase, laying a solid foundation for the progress of the entire project.

The Wulipu Interchange Hub, located in Zuozhong Village, south of Wulipu Town in Shayang County, is a crucial connection point between this project and the ErGuang Expressway (G55). The existing ErGuang Expressway is currently operational, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a roadbed width of 26.0 meters. The Wulipu Interchange Hub consists of eight ramps, among which the steel box girders for Rampe A and B are designed as 40+60+40 continuous steel box girders, spanning 60 meters over the ErGuang Expressway. Each ramp requires 894 tons of steel, and the distance between Rampe A and B is 750 meters.

The Wuhan-Chongqing Expressway section (from the Tianmen-Jingmen boundary to the Second Guangzhou Expressway) is a key project outlined in Hubei Province's "14th Five-Year Plan for Comprehensive Transportation Development". Once completed, it will strengthen connectivity between the Wuhan Metropolitan Area and the Yichang-Jingzhou-Jingmen Metropolitan Area, support the implementation of Hubei's regional development strategy ("one main leader, two wings driving, and all-round coordination"), and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
